Let’s talk about those foggy days.
The ones where your ambition’s gone quiet.
When your inbox looks as quiet as your ideas.
And nothing feels quite… right.

It’s been one of those weeks for me.

But, like I tell myself, you’re not broken.
You’re just between chapters.
And chapters need turning.

Stillness can be seductive.
And confusion is a damn good liar.
It’ll whisper, “wait it out.”
It’ll tell you, “You’re stuck.”

You’re not stuck.

You’re processing.

And processing can build pressure or momentum.

Here’s how to choose the second one.

10 Things To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do

  1. Write for 30 minutes.
No plan. No prompt. Just pen to the page. Let the confusion in your brain spill out. I guarantee your thoughts will feel clearer.
  2. See a live show.
Big, small, doesn’t matter. Remember why you fell in love in the first place.
  3. Read 10 pages of a book.
Any book. Biographies, poetry, business, fiction. Fill your brain with better thoughts than the ones you’re stuck on.
  4. Listen to an album all the way through.
Start to finish. No skips. Let someone else’s life give shape to your own.
  5. Take a walk without your phone.
Yes, you’ll survive. Let your legs move and your mind forward. Motion creates emotion.
  6. Organize your workspace.
It’s not procrastination if it clears the cobwebs. Sometimes, progress starts with a fresh start.
  7. Make something bad.
Write a top-of-mind verse. Record a goofy voice memo. Sketch the world’s worst logo. Art that sucks still unsticks you.
  8. Message someone you admire.
Not to ask for anything. Just to say you’re grateful. You’d be shocked how often that leads somewhere unexpected.
  9. Cook a real meal.
One you can’t microwave. It grounds you in process. In patience. In care.
  10. Go to bed early.
Because sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is reset the damn system.
